I Draw Slice Of Life Comics For People With A Dark Sense Of Humor

0

My name is Idan, and I’ve been drawing the webcomic series “C-Section Comics” for the past decade.

Thanks to
My comics cover a wide range of interests, including life, death, love, philosophy, religion, social issues, technology, geek comedy, and so on. Some are brighter, while others are darker, and some are just plain stupid.

I’ve recently begun providing bonus panels and poems that accompany each comic on my website. They give each comic a unique taste, and they can offer the punchline a whole new meaning.

Hundreds of comics are currently available in the “C-Section Comics” archives. All of them are available on my website. I’ve also lately begun sharing them on Instagram (link below).

Anyway, here are a few which I like the most, and hope you’ll like as well. Let me know what you think in the comments!

If You Still Don’t Know What Pet To Pick, Illustrations By This Artist Will Help You Decide (24 New Pics)

The simplest things in life can often provide the most serene and joyful moments: lovely moments of relaxation, the idyll of the routine, bonding with your pet, and so on. However, in the hustle and bustle of our fast-paced modern lives, we often forget this.

So it’s wonderful that artists like Yaoyao Ma Van As can use her illustrations to remind us of these facts. Her drawings have a whimsical style that many find relaxing, and they remind us that happiness is found in appreciating the small things in life.

As the title of the post suggests, there are many benefits to having a dog. The illustrations are softer arguments, but there are a few more solid and concrete ones. Dogs help you remain active, they reduce the risk of heart disease and heart attack, they also help reduce the blood pressure and overall stress levels. And that’s just to name a few.

Here’s how Yaoyao introduces herself in her bio: “I am an art director, painter, illustrator and occasional animator. Over the years I have worked at Disney TV Animation, Warner Brothers Animation, Rick and Morty, Stoopid Buddy Studios, Starburns Industries, etc. I enjoy creating little stories with each of my paintings, especially the ones with my dog Parker in them.”

Yaoyao’s pictures are lighthearted, playful, and almost ephemeral in nature. Even though the photographs are dynamic in and of themselves, she manages to convey the ecstasy of the occasion. The images create the illusion of stillness amid action, which is why they have such a calming and serene effect when viewed.

This is the fourth installment of Yaoyao’s Bored Panda series. If you want to look at the preceding illustrations, no problem; here are the links to each part: I, II, III. Despite the fact that the concept of them is quite similar, this does not detract from any of the photographs, and you may appreciate them just as much as you did in this post. Please take a peek at it!

The End.

Here’s What I Came Up With After Painting 26 People As Disney-Worthy Cartoon Characters.

0

I’ve been painting these beautiful Disney and Pixar animation-worthy characters for the past few years.

Whether they are actual or imagined figures, I use a digital tablet and Photoshop to immerse my wonderful characters in stunning colours and lights. I emphasise their appeal during the semi-realistic development phase by aiming for one-of-a-kind colours and styles that have been meticulously crafted over time.

I’m hoping that my paintings will make you smile!

Brazilian Artist Creates Heartbreaking Comics Without Using A Single Word

0

A comic by Ademar Vieira was just released here a few days ago. It looked at two other universes: one with and one without a dog. We’re putting up more of his comics this time. What makes these comics unique is that they don’t examine two different options; instead, exactly like in life, there is only one outcome. And, just as in real life, the results might be tragic.

Powered by Vieira’s stories are incredibly moving, as they tackle tough topics like parenthood, social injustice, economic disparity, quarantine challenges, and death itself, all of which are particularly poignant in light of the present pandemic. Set aside some Kleenex since they’re realistic and heartbreaking, and you might shed a tear or two.

Looking at the stories, it’s no surprise that Vieira worked as a screenwriter. But what’s surprising is how talented he is at illustrating these narratives without using a single word. The fact that his silent narratives express a whole world of emotions, themes, and ideas is remarkable.

Ademar gave Bored Panda an exclusive interview about his works and background in general. “I started making the strips unpretentiously, just as a way to exorcise my demons during a very difficult phase that I was going through in early 2020 and when I posted, I realized that many people identified with them themselves. I received good feedback and then I continued to expose the things I was feeling and the audience got bigger. When I recovered from the bad phase, we were in the coronavirus pandemic, meaning everyone was going through a bad phase, so I continued to explore the problems people around the world were going through. Now I have used the strips to express my opinions on some issues that I consider relevant, whether personal, social, or political.”Powered by

Sometimes small actions we take can change someone’s life. Have you ever stopped to think about what kind of change your attitudes are causing in the world? Note: In Brazil, it is very common for children to help their families financially by selling treats on the streets, this boy is an example of this.

Recently, he’s been enjoying some success over social media, and he shared his reaction to it. “I couldn’t believe it when a comic strip of mine went viral in Latin America in June this year. I received 100 thousand likes and gained 20 thousand followers in one week. Famous people and profiles came to talk to me and congratulate me and that left me in the clouds, but it also brought the weight of responsibility. Now, I was no longer making strips just for me and my friends, people from different countries were also seeing me. I was very happy that the public showed me a path to be followed as an artist and I want to follow that path to see what else is good.”

Mother

This comic strip is called “Mother” because it talks about the mother of all living beings: Nature. Today, in my country, Brazil, there is daily news of arson in the Amazon and the Pantanal, our two largest reserves of biodiversity. It affects us, but not to the same degree that it affects animals. Perhaps, through art, we can put ourselves in their shoes and try to see things from another perspective…https://5e6e3c3b9cb3e13e0a5870804762212e.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-38/html/container.htmlPowered by

The River

For many indigenous cultures, a river is not a natural resource, but a living entity with a personality. In some cases, he is considered a close relative, so he is treated with respect. The indigenous’s connection with nature is so strong that he cannot exist without it. That is why this comic strip is called “The River” and at the same time it tells the story of a river, it also tells the story of several indigenous peoples in Latin America.

Disney Princesses Reimagined As Hot Dogs

0

We’ve seen Disney princesses reinterpreted as people of other races, Disney princesses with beards, realistic hair, realistic waistlines, terrifying creatures, and even Disney princesses reimagined as minions. LuckyPeach, a culinary website, decided to join the craze and turned four lovely princesses into beautiful hot dog recipes.

The masterminds behind the character design initiative, Anna Hezel and Gabriella Paiella, even give recipes with directions on how to turn your hot dog into Ariel, Rapunzel, Pocahontas, and Belle.

“No matter how you decide to recreate Disney princesses, it will be motivating and lovely.” They state on their website, “Never mind that these cartoon characters are the creation of a billion-dollar corporate giant, or that most of the Disney characters encourage conventional beauty standards and subjugation to men.”

Sir Leopold

Not only are the comics’ ends surprising, but so are the style and characters. The Perry Bible Fellowship stands out because of its versatility and creative artwork. The amazing artist has created everything the concept required, from simple human figures with no facial features to exquisite watercolor settings, bright cartoons, and intricate multi-panel narrative. Gurewitch uses people, animals, fantastical and fairy-tale characters, nature, food, and everyday household and other inanimate objects as subjects of his comics, which leaves us intrigued for every new strip.

Rubbed

The Perry Bible Fellowship grew out of The Daily Orange, a Syracuse University student newspaper that was the first to publish comics. It included comics by numerous well-known cartoonists, including Vaughn Bode, Brad Anderson, and Robb Armstrong, in addition to Gurewitch’s early work.

“After a brief stint as a journalist for the same newspaper, I began drawing comics for my student newspaper in college. I

enjoy getting others to think about topics in new ways. Sharing perplexity is a mental fetish. Gurewitch told Bored Panda that “wonder grows there.”

The Perry Bible Fellowship has amassed a cult following of 307k dark humor fans on Instagram and over 141k Facebook fans throughout the years.

My 13 Wholesome Comics About Cats And Dogs

0

Hello! Beanie is my name, and I’m a cartoonist who creates cartoons based on my life and my fascination with dogs (and cats!). Pets brighten our lives, and I enjoy photographing cute moments with them that I see in real life.

I presently do not possess a pet, but I desperately want one, so I am usually on the lookout for attractive dogs on the street. I make comics about the animals I see around me, as well as the great pets I had as a kid. I really want to get my own dog and write cartoons about it one day.

Please check out my Instagram for more!
