Ben Hed, the creator of Pet Foolery, was contacted to find out what he’s been up to lately. He announced the book to his ardent admirers, saying, “I’ve been spending my spare time working on a Pixie and Brutus comic novel.”

“I was never planned on making them a series, I just thought it would be a humorous idea to introduce an adorable little kitten to a big terrifying war dog,” Ben explained, explaining that it all began with a random comic idea.
