When one browses the internet there’s no running away from comics, and the best thing about is that they come in all shapes and sizes. However, if you are looking for something that can lift up your mood instantly, we highly recommend cat comics! It is a well-known fact that cats make everything out to be more dramatic than it actually is and owning one is both a blessing and a curse at times.Powered by
Today we will present the ironic comics by artist Ellen who started making comics about her daily life back when we were having our first lockdown due to Covid-19.
Ellen started off with making just regular comics, but bit by bit, her cat also slipped in and practically became the star of all of her ideas.
Ellen was contacted by Bored Panda to learn more about herself and her comics.
“Well, I’ve been drawing since I was a child, and while on lockdown, I was able to devote more time to developing a comic series. I grew enamoured with painting her crazy expressions after we adopted a kitten! I was initially apprehensive about sharing my paintings, but my family gave me the confidence boost I needed. I figured people might need a laugh during this pandemic, so I wanted to help them smile, and it just took off from there!”
Being an artist is difficult; one can easily experience a lack of inspiration, exhaustion, and other issues, therefore we decided to question the artist about her comics ideas.
“The ideas never stop flowing; my problem is that I never have enough time to draw them all! My kids and cat are fantastic sources of humorous amusement; they’re simply naturally funny, and we spend a lot of time in our house laughing. I’m a bit of a knucklehead, so I tend to make everything into a joke.”
