Remember Ben Hed, the cartoonist who made us laugh by showing us what would happen if humans flirted with each other like animals? He’s come up with yet another adorable drawing series that we think you should check out. It’s about an unexpected animal bond developing between a little kitty cat and a giant German shepherd dog, and it’ll melt your heart.
Ben told , “Pixie is a little, cheerful, lively kitty.” “She’s naive and naïve to the serious, deadly things going on around her.”
Brutus, on the other hand, is a huge German Shepherd with a scarred face. “After retiring as a Military Working Dog, he was adopted by Pixie’s owner” (MWD). In many ways, Brutus is the polar opposite of Pixie. He’s… seen some things. He’s a serious and scary military canine, yet he has a soft spot for Pixie and does everything he can to keep her safe from the harsh realities of life.”
“Pixie and Brutus were just another odd comic idea I got at work,” says the author. I had no intention of turning them into a series; I only thought it would be amusing to introduce a cute little kitten to a large, terrifying war dog. So I created the first Pixie and Brutus charming animal comic, and people like it so much that I continued to create them.”
