Arien Smith wanted to send a message to Disney princesses, who are typically shown as flawless and beautiful women. The television series “Royal Service Dogs” attempts to raise awareness about the rights of people with disabilities.

Arien is a mental health advocate who seeks to promote awareness about service dogs’ usefulness. He gave each princess in the series weaknesses and demonstrated how support canines may help them cope. “Both a critique of the lack of disabled characters and a support for the rights of those with impairments,” the artist says of his work.
